A Few of My Favorite Windows Scripts

File Renamer  -  click here to view the File Renamer script
Have you ever needed to rename a bunch of files in a directory? This script automates what was once a tedious process.

Map Network Drives  -  click here to view the Map Network Drives script
Tired of mapping network drives manually? Once executed, this script maps drives to the server of your choice.

Programmatically Open Internet Explorer  -  click here to view the Open IE script
I found this one on Microsoft's script download page, which is a great place to find all sorts of handy bits of code.

Who is Logged On?  -  click here to view the Who is Logged On script
This script is a nice tool for network administrators (for both convenience and security reasons). It displays all user's currently logged on to a remote machine on your network.

Wallpaper Changer  -  click here to view the Wallpaper Changer script
Sick of your wallpaper? Even more sick of changing it all the time? One of my personal favorites, this script will randomly select an image from the directory of your choice and set it as your desktop wallpaper using Irfanview's command line utility. I assign this script to run as a logon script to automatically change my wallpaper everytime I log on. If you haven't heard of Irfanview, it's a fantastic, simple, and free image viewer. Check it out.
